- What do I need to get started?
We make it simple. After creating your PowerUploads account, you just upload the video and the information, buy the credits you need, and we will start uploading your videos to the distribution network you select. In most cases, we are able to begin posting the very same day.
- What video sites are listed?
PowerUploads has one of the most extensive video site distribution networks around. And we are continually adding more. Check out the video site listing page for our current list.
In fact, if you know of any sites to add to our list, we want to hear about them. You can send us a message from the video site listing page.
- Can I use PowerUploads.com for just selected sites?
You will set up your distribution network in your customer profile. You can select as many or as few videos sites as you want and you can customize your distribution network at any time.
- Does PowerUploads create accounts on the video distribution sites?
No, each customer needs to establish their individual accounts. You can go to our list of video distribution sites to set them up. If you have a large project and would like some help establishing these accounts, contact us and we may be able to help you out.
- How much does it cost?
PowerUploads makes it simple. It costs 99 cents for each upload to each video site. You just buy credits and use one credit for each video upload. Buy as many or as few as you need. No minimum. No contacts to sign and we will refund any unused credits so there is no risk in buying more than you need. Click here to purchase credits.
- What form of payment does PowerUploads.com take?
We use PayPal for purchasing credits on PowerUploads. So if you have a PayPal account, you can use those funds, or use a major credit card as well.
- Do I have to sign a contract that ties me up for a long period of time?
No, you just purchase credits for uploading and use them whenever you want.
- How do I get a refund of credits I purchased?
Go to the Contact Page and send us a message requesting your refund. Make sure you include your Username and we will process it and send you a message when it has been completed.

- What types of videos does PowerUploads.com handle?
Because various video distribution sites require different formats, you will want to upload your video in various standardized formats for the widest distribution. At the time uploading, you will see the formats currently used on PowerUploads.com.
- Do I have to upload the video in all of the formats?
No. Different video sites have different requirements on the types of videos they handle. You can get more information on the video site itself. If you select a video site in your distribution network for a video to be uploaded that doesn't handle the format you have sent to PowerUploads, we will send you a message letting you know. And of course we won't charge you a credit if we can't upload to that site.
- Why can’t I just post the videos myself?
You can. It just takes a lot of time. We know. We have done it. We have experience doing it ourselves on our own video sites and decided that we would like to use a service such as PowerUploads.com, but couldn’t find one. So we created one! Each upload can take several minutes, tying up your computer and your staff. With PowerUploads, you only go through that process once. You can also post videos yourself outside of your PowerUploads program by going to the individual sites and uploading it manually yourself.
- Why do I want to be listed on so many sites? Doesn’t everyone have access to YouTube?
Our experience has shown that having our videos on many of the lesser known video distribution sites has increased our visibility tremendously. And many times our videos were getting lost on YouTube. It is sometimes easier to get noticed on one of the smaller sites, but it takes much more time to upload to each and every site.
- How quickly can I start?
Very quickly. It is easy to set up your account. Click here to register. Then once you have uploaded your first video, selected your distribution network, and purchased credits we start to work on it. Most of the videos are up within 24 hours, and almost all will be distributed within 48 hours.
- What type of information do I need to provide to PowerUploads?
When you create your customer account, you will provide your contact information, select the video sites to be included in your distribution network as well as the login and password for each video site. PowerUploads keeps this information very secure.
- What if I change my video site login or password?
If your login information for a video site is changed and updated, go to your distribution network and make the updates. If you have already scheduled an upload, we recommend that you don't make any changes to that access information until your video upload is completed to avoid confusion and lose time.
- What do I need to provide for each video?
Just think of the information you typically provide when you upload a video to a video distribution site now. You need the video itself, a few descriptions, and any other information required by the video site. Just fill in the boxes on the upload page and you will be set.
- Can I change the video information or delete the videos?
You will want to be careful when you upload your video information to PowerUploads. We post exactly what you give us. If we make a mistake, let us know and we will fix it right away.
If you just want a change to the video information, let us know by sending us a message from the contact page and we will see what we can do. If you want to delete the videos from all of the web sites in your distribution network, we can handle that for you – it just takes one credit per video. This is one credit per video – not one credit for each video site. You will also have access to all of the video sites yourself and can delete the videos yourself without using PowerUploads.
- Do I give PowerUploads.com the rights to my video?
Never. You own your video content and PowerUploads will never do anything with it other than post it to your distribution network. And we never distribute your video to anyplace you don't tell us to.
- How can I track my video distribution information?
PowerUploads gives you the latest information on the status of your upload on the Video Uploading Detail page. By logging into your account, you will be able to see the status of your video uploads on the . We do not provide information on tracking the actual number of videos viewed on the sites, but have found TubeMogul.com to be a great tool for that for the major sites.
- What types of video producers use PowerUploads.com?
We never give out information on our customers, Ever. But we can tell you that we provide uploading for many types of video producers, from professionals who need to build an audience to amateurs who want see their videos in more places.
- Is there anything free on PowerUploads?
Yes, after you make your first credit purchase, the next 25 credits are on us. We know that you will want more!
- How secure is my log in information with PowerUploads?
PowerUploads guards your log in information very securely. No one has access to that information outside of the company. We recommend that customers change their password information on each account before providing us with the information. And if you update your password at any time in the future, you will be assured that we no longer have access to your accounts.
